Firewall and Proxy
When using Capitalor Trader at your workplace, it is quite likely that you are connected to the Internet via a firewall or a proxy-server. If so, try to activate operating through SOCKS5 or HTTP proxy servers in the settings: «Tools -> Options -> Server -> Proxy». In the worst case, ask your system administrator to open port 443 or to set up the mapping of the port for access to the trade server.
Check or change your monitor resolution

choose "Settings", select "Control Panel", double click "Display", and select the "Settings" tab. Depending on which Windows operating system you have, an area of the screen before you will be labeled as the "Screen Area" (Windows 98, 2000, or XP), "Desktop Area" (Windows 95 or NT), or "Display Area". Within that area of the screen, move the slider bar to read "1024 by 768 pixels".
Windows 95, 98, 2000, XP users: Click on the "Apply" button. A dialog box will pop up indicating that Windows will now apply the new desktop settings, but if the settings do not appear correct, the original settings will be automatically restored in 15 seconds. Follow the instructions displayed.
Windows NT users: Click on the "Test" button. It is critical that Windows NT users perform this test before proceeding. A dialog box will pop up indicating that Windows will now test the new "mode".
